The Main Street Jersey Barrier Mystery has been solved!
Thanks to the heat generated by our last Anything League City show, and a quick call to TXDOT, I am happy to report this update from one of our intrepid listeners, Sean Cupitt,: “Way to go! Looks like those barriers are finally up on 518 by Academy - albeit extremely temporary (orange barrels can still be moved or vehicles can still "thread-the-needle").”
Thank you Sean and thanks for listening. I am told that TxDot contractors should have the job finished and permanent concrete jersey barriers in place within 2 weeks.
